NORTH DAKOTA Fall & Spring Snow Goose Hunts

The Ringneck Resort is now offering fall AND spring snow goose hunts from our lodge!  During the fall season, huntable numbers usually start arriving in late October (mother nature dependent).  We will hunt snow geese until they migrate out.  This can be early to late November.  Cold or snow usually ends our fall season.


The spring snow goose hunts can be memorable as well.  Our hunting lodge is smack in the middle of one of the best snow goose flyways in the spring.  During the migration, expect to see countless numbers of birds migrating.  And later in the spring, the juveniles arrive which makes for some fast snow goose hunting!  Contact us today to book your seat.

Hunting Snow Geese in North Dakota

At the Ring Neck Resort, we have access to a lot of solid fields in our area.  This area holds a tremendous amount of snow geese in the fall and again in the spring.  If you're interested in some good old North Dakota snow goose hunting, then jump in the blind this us!


Things to Bring:

  • Camouflage Clothing (preferably warm)
  • Warm Boots
  • Rubber Boots (in the case of wet weather)
  • Shotgun (Must be plugged to hold no more than 3 shells in the fall)
  • Inner Clothing for all types of weather (Check forecast for your hunting dates)
  • If bringing a dog be sure to have (food, collars, and all other necessities)
  • Camera

What Is a Typical Day With Our Snow Goose Hunting Guide?

Our snow goose hunts are really a bit different during the fall and the spring.


During fall snow goose hunting in North Dakota, we generally set decoys each morning early and hunt until they go back to the roost.


If you're interested in pheasant hunting in the afternoon, that can be arranged (during the season).


When running our spring snow goose hunts in North Dakota, we hunt LARGE, fixed spreads during the migration and set up each day for juvies.  All depending on the migration as to what technique we will use.


After that, we clean all of your snow geese from the day while you have a cocktail and appetizers.  Then we prepare an amazing meal, then it's relaxation time at the lodge.

Snow goose Hunting Pricing (fALL AND sPRING)


We're now offering snow goose hunts in the fall and the spring here in North Dakota.  We have all the decoys and equipment necessary for a good snow goose hunt, all we need is you in the blind.


All of our snow goose hunting packages include your meals, lodging, alcohol, and bird processing. You will need to provide your own shotgun shells.  We highly recommend bringing more than enough for those special mornings afield.  Our snow goose hunts are in North Dakota and do not include your your waterfowl hunting license ($100.00).


Hunting Dates: Tentatively the Last Week of October-December 1st (Mother Nature dictates the start and finish, not us).


Minimum group size to book: 1 person - Groups of 6+ will hunt as private group

Large groups are welcome as we can accommodate up to 48 hunters at a time (but obviously not in the same field for snow goose hunts - pheasants are different).


Waterfowl Limits: You can harvest 50 snow geese/day in the fall and unlimited in the spring.
